Patient Privacy Framework

In collaboration with Splunk Product Management, I led the design and development of a custom solution for healthcare environments to address patient privacy requirements. I worked closely with NewYork-Presbyterian to implement over 20 use cases focused on clinician access to patient data.

I spoke about the project at Splunk .conf18 and it was featured in Splunk’s Blueprints for Success.

On Air Fest is advancing the culture of audio. I worked closely with the work x work team to integrate Statamic with an innovative and intricate visual design. The CMS backend provides intuitive management capabilities.

Jay and his team are incredible and I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to build a robust, flexible and design-focused website. His attention to detail is matched only by his commitment to the stability of the system. He’s a pleasure to work with, super reliable and has deep integrity. He is just a committed to the success of our project as we are. That’s a unique partner to find. — Scott Newman, Founder & Creative Director, work x work

Wheel Tracking System

I instrumented Midwest Wheelcoaters’ proprietary commercial wheel conditioning process in a custom web application, eliminating manual processes and streamlining operations. The Wheel Tracking System allows wheels to be checked in at different stages of the process by shop personnel and provided customers visibility into their order status.

“Once the system was operational, our organizational problems were resolved, and the two people that were used to continuously resolve our customers’ issues were reassigned. After a year of use, we determined that the added information provided by the Wheel Tracking System would allow us to make a production process change. Ultimately that change has increased our throughput by 27%, something that would not have been possible prior!” — Rich Hamm, Principal, Midwest Wheelcoaters

Freelance Web Development

I began freelancing in the mid-90s and over the span of two decades built a couple hundred websites for clients throughout the US and beyond – creative agencies, churches, nonprofits, newspapers, banks, schools, systems integrators, recording studios, realtors, retailers, events, photographers, medical practices, start-ups, manufacturers, artists, musicians, engineers, a search engine, a competitive sled dog musher, and even a lumberjack.
